Approve or reject a change

Find changes waiting for approval in StoreFleet, review the before and after, then approve, edit and approve, or reject them with a reason.

Updated

On this page
  1. Open Approvals
  2. Review and approve
  3. Reject
  4. Before you approve something that can’t be undone

When a change needs approval, the person who made it clicks Send for approval. The dialog then says Nothing changes yet — an Admin or approver on this shop still has to say yes. The change waits on the Approvals page. Which changes wait is set in Approval Settings.

Changes reach Approvals from three places:

  • The Dashboard: every Admin only change, even when an Admin made it, and other changes set to Approval required.
  • StoreFleet: Inventory Sync, inside Shopify admin: Admin only actions, such as a refund, once the workspace has at least one Admin. Multi-Store Sync shows Sent for approval. An Admin approves it in StoreFleet Dashboard → Approvals. Other Multi-Store Sync changes are applied at once and never wait here.
  • AI agents: any change an agent asks for that its level does not apply automatically.

Open Approvals

  • In the sidebar, open Dashboard → Approvals.
  • Right after you send a change, click View in Approvals (or View approvals) in the message that appears.
  • Or go to <workspace>.getstorefleet.com/workspace/approvals.

The page is titled Approvals and lists changes waiting for someone to say yes, across every shop in the workspace. It opens on Pending approval; use Shop and Status to filter.

The columns are Shop, Kind, Status, Affected, Reversible and Submitted. Submitted by shows whether a Person or an AI agent sent the change. A change marked Can’t be undone cannot be rolled back once applied.

Review and approve

  1. Click the change. Review this change shows what will change.
  2. Click Approve to apply it as it is.
  3. Or click Edit, then approve to adjust it first, then approve it.

Members with the Admin or Manager role can approve a change set to Approval required. Only an Admin can approve an Admin only change; the review then says Only an Admin can approve this change. Staff cannot approve.

Reject

  1. Click Reject.
  2. Type the reason, so the person who sent it knows what to fix.
  3. Click Confirm reject. Nothing is written to the shop.

Before you approve something that can’t be undone

A refund, for example, cannot be taken back. The review shows Cannot be undone: Once this is approved and applied, StoreFleet cannot roll it back. Check the amount and the order before you approve.
