MCP in Multi-Store Sync: status, tools and AI activity

Use the Integrations and MCP pages of Multi-Store Sync to check MCP, copy a client configuration, see what AI agents did on this store and roll it back.

StoreFleet: Inventory Sync has its own MCP page inside your Shopify admin. It shows MCP for the store you have open: what AI agents did on it, and which tools they can call. Setting MCP up for the whole workspace, including the workspace token, happens in the Dashboard. See Connect an AI agent with MCP.

Open the MCP page

  1. In the app menu, click Integrations. The page lists MCP (AI agents) with an On or Off badge.
  2. Click it. The MCP page has four tabs: Overview, Access tokens, Tools and Activity.

MCP is part of the Pro plan. On another plan the page shows MCP is part of the Pro plan, with Choose a plan. See Plans and pricing.

Overview

  • Status shows whether the MCP server is On or Off for the workspace.
  • Last 24 hours counts Active tokens, Tool calls, Errors and Denied for this store.
  • Connect a client has the Server URL and a ready configuration for Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor or Gemini CLI. Choose the Client, click Copy … configuration, and replace the token placeholder with the workspace MCP token from the Dashboard.

Turn on and Turn off appear here only when this store is the only store in the workspace. Otherwise the page says MCP is turned on and off for the whole workspace by its admin in the StoreFleet Dashboard.

Access tokens

This tab lists Legacy tokens: tokens created earlier from this app. They reach this store only and can only read it. You can revoke them, but not create new ones.

To revoke one, open its actions menu, click Revoke and confirm Revoke token. Any AI client using it loses access immediately.

The workspace MCP token is in the Dashboard. Click Open the MCP page in the Dashboard in the banner to get there.

Tools

The Tools tab lists the tools an AI client can call on this shop with the workspace token, grouped by area. Each tool is marked Read or Write, and each write Reversible, Partially reversible or Not reversible.

A write follows the store’s Approval Settings, the same as a person’s change in the Dashboard. When it needs approval, the AI client gets back awaiting approval and nothing is written until a person approves it in StoreFleet Dashboard → Approvals. Refunds, cancellations and payment captures always wait for an Admin. See What AI agents can and cannot do.

See what AI agents did on this store

  1. Open the Activity tab. It opens on Tool calls for the Last 7 days.
  2. Narrow it with Date range, Token, Tool and Result (Success, Denied or Error).
  3. To see token and switch changes instead, set Activity type to Admin events.
  4. Click a call to open it: Arguments, Result, and for a write the Changes with Before and After.

The list covers every call that touched this store, whichever token made it.

Roll back a change an agent made

  1. Open the call from Activity.
  2. Under Changes, click Roll back. The button is there only for a write that can be undone and has not been rolled back.
  3. Review before rolling back lists what will be rolled back. Items changed again since the agent wrote them are shown as Changed again since and are not rolled back automatically.
  4. Click Roll back to confirm.

The rollback is logged as your change. A change marked Not reversible, for example a refund, cannot be rolled back; the call page shows the values you need to put things right by hand.

What you cannot do here

  • You cannot see or rotate the workspace MCP token in Multi-Store Sync.
  • The page covers this store only. To see every store’s activity, use Integrations → MCP in the Dashboard. See What AI agents can and cannot do.
