Rename your workspace or change its address
Change your StoreFleet workspace name, or move the workspace to a new address at getstorefleet.com, from Admin → Workspace in the Dashboard.
Your workspace has a name, which your team sees across the Dashboard, and an address, the <address>.getstorefleet.com where everyone signs in. Both are changed in the Dashboard only, by a member with the Admin role. Other members can see them but not change them. StoreFleet: Inventory Sync shows the workspace name and address on Settings → Storefleet account, but cannot change them.
Rename the workspace
- In the sidebar, open Admin → Workspace.
- In Workspace name, type the new name, 1 to 80 characters.
- Click Save name. You see Workspace name updated.
Change the workspace address
Changing the address moves your workspace. Old links redirect to the new address, and everyone has to sign in again there. MCP connections are not affected.
- In Admin → Workspace, find Workspace address.
- Type the new address. Use lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens.
- Click Change address.
- Confirm Change the workspace address? with Change address.
- You are taken to the sign-in page at the new address. Sign in again.
Tell your team the new address. See Install Multi-Store Sync and open your Dashboard for how members sign in.
If the address is refused
- That address is reserved by StoreFleet: some addresses are kept for StoreFleet itself. Pick another one.
- That address is already used by another workspace, or was used before: an address can only belong to one workspace, and a previously used one cannot be taken again. Pick another one.
- If your workspace requires two-factor authentication, you need to have set it up on your own account before you can change the address. The error then offers Go to Profile. See Require two-factor authentication.
