You can fulfil a Shopify order from its page in the Dashboard or in StoreFleet: Inventory Sync. Either way the fulfillment is written to Shopify straight away; it does not wait for approval.

In the Dashboard

Fulfilling needs the Admin or Manager role.

  1. Open Orders & Fulfillment → Orders and click the order.
  2. On the Fulfillment card, click Fulfil.
  3. Check the quantity of each line you are shipping. Set a line to zero to leave it for later.
  4. Enter the Tracking number and choose the Carrier. If the carrier is not listed, choose Unknown / other.
  5. Tick Notify the customer if Shopify should email the buyer.
  6. Click Fulfil.

If the tracking number is already used on this order, the dialog warns you: two shipments with one number merge into one on the customer’s tracking page.

In Multi-Store Sync (Shopify admin)

  1. Open StoreFleet: Inventory Sync → Orders and click the order.
  2. Click Fulfill items.
  3. If the order ships from more than one location, pick it in Fulfill from.
  4. Set the quantity of each line.
  5. Enter the Tracking number, and if you have them, the Tracking URL and Carrier.
  6. Tick Send shipment details to the customer to email the buyer.
  7. Click Fulfill items. You see Items fulfilled.

Fulfil many orders at once (Multi-Store Sync)

  1. On the Orders list, tick the orders and click Fulfill selected. Up to 50 orders can go in one run.
  2. Enter a tracking number and carrier for each order, or use Fill from a CSV: choose a CSV file or paste rows (order number, tracking number, carrier), then click Apply CSV.
  3. Optionally fill Carrier for orders without one and tick Notify customers.
  4. Click Fulfill N orders. Orders that cannot be fulfilled right now are listed as skipped, with the reason.

You can click Stop to end the run after the current order. Orders already fulfilled stay fulfilled. Afterwards, Retry N failed orders sends only the failed ones again.

The Dashboard has no bulk fulfil. To attach many tracking numbers there, see Import tracking numbers from a file.

Edit the tracking or cancel a fulfillment

  1. On the order page, find the shipment under Fulfilled.
  2. Open its menu and choose Edit tracking to change the number or carrier, or Cancel fulfillment to cancel it.

You see Tracking updated or Fulfillment canceled when it is done. In Multi-Store Sync, cancelling asks you to confirm: the items are marked as unfulfilled and the customer is not notified.

Hold, move, split or merge a fulfillment order

An order can be split into fulfillment orders, one per location or batch. Their menu on the order page offers:

  • In the Dashboard: Hold, Move, Split, Merge, and Accept or Reject for a fulfillment request. A hold placed here has to be released in Shopify admin for now. Move asks for the Destination location ID, which you copy from Shopify admin → Settings → Locations.
  • In Multi-Store Sync: Hold fulfillment, Release hold, Change location, Split, Merge, Accept request and Reject request.

Add a tracking number from Shipments (Dashboard)

  1. Open Orders & Fulfillment → Shipments and click Add tracking number.
  2. Under Order, search by order number, name or email and pick the order.
  3. Enter the Tracking number and choose the Carrier, or I don’t know yet.
  4. Click Add tracking number.

StoreFleet then follows the parcel and updates its status. See Shipments and the tracking report.
