Sync shipping copies one shop’s market shipping — delivery options, rates, conditions and free-shipping thresholds — onto other shops. You compare first and see every change before anything is applied. Sync is in the Dashboard only; it needs at least two Shopify shops in the workspace.

Compare two or more shops

  1. In the sidebar, open Shop → Sync shipping. You can also click Sync from another shop on Shipping & delivery.
  2. Under Copy from, choose the shop whose shipping is right.
  3. Under Copy to, tick the shops to update.
  4. Click Compare.

For each target shop you see its markets one by one: what the delivery option is Now: and what it will be After sync:, with actions such as Add, Remove or Update. Markets that already match are summed up at the end. If a shop already matches in every market, it says so.

Choose what to apply

  1. Untick any market you do not want to change on that shop.
  2. Read the items not copied banner if one shows. It lists parts that have no match on the target shop, for example a market, collection or location that does not exist there, a carrier service that is not connected, or prices in another currency (prices are not converted). Everything else is copied.
  3. Click Apply to … for one shop, or Apply to all … shops when several are ready.

After you apply

Each target shop gets one change. Shipping sync is Admin only in Approval Settings, and this cannot be relaxed: the change waits on the Approvals page until a member with the Admin role approves it, even when an Admin applied it.

  • Sent for approval. Shipping on … hasn’t changed yet. The change is on the Approvals page. See Approve or reject a change.
  • Only some markets on … were updated. Shopify took part of the change; check the shop for errors.

When you apply to several shops, a summary shows how many were applied, sent for approval, partly applied or failed.

What you cannot do here

  • Both shops must use Shopify’s market-driven shipping. If either still sets shipping with delivery profiles, the shop shows Not on market-driven shipping yet and cannot be synced.
  • A market that is still a draft on the shop you copy from is skipped.
  • Delivery options sync cannot copy yet are listed so you can set them up by hand.
