Require two-factor authentication

Turn on two-factor authentication for every member of your StoreFleet workspace, set it up with an authenticator app, and sign in with a recovery code.

Two-factor authentication (2FA) is one switch for the whole workspace. When it is on, every member signs in with their password and a 6-digit code from an authenticator app.

Turn it on for the workspace

  1. Open Admin → Security (admins only).
  2. Switch on Require two-factor authentication. It then reads On — required for every member.

Members who have not set up 2FA yet are asked to do it the next time they sign in. Switching it off again shows Off — not required.

Set it up as a member

The next time you sign in after 2FA is turned on:

  1. On Set up two-factor authentication, scan the QR code with an authenticator app.
  2. Enter the 6-digit code the app shows and click Continue.
  3. On Save your recovery codes, click Copy all or Download .txt and keep the codes somewhere safe.
  4. Tick the box to confirm you saved them and click Done.

Sign in with 2FA

  1. Sign in with your Email and Password.
  2. On Enter your verification code, type the 6-digit code from your app and click Verify. A code is valid for a few minutes, so use a fresh one if it is refused.

Multi-Store Sync

This setting applies to signing in to the Dashboard. StoreFleet: Inventory Sync runs inside your Shopify admin and uses your Shopify sign-in, so it has no 2FA setting of its own.

Lost your phone?

On Enter your verification code, click Lost your phone? Use a recovery code instead and enter one of your saved recovery codes.
