Run sales and sessions reports
Open the three StoreFleet reports, sales over time, sales by product and sessions, for one shop, pick a date range and compare it with an earlier period.
On this page
Reports runs three reports on one shop, read from the shop’s own Shopify analytics:
- Sales over time
- Sales by product
- Sessions over time
The same reports are in Multi-Store Sync and in the Dashboard. Multi-Store Sync names the first two Total sales over time and Net sales by product.
Open Reports
In Multi-Store Sync (Shopify admin)
- In the app menu, click Analytics. The page is titled Reports.
- To run them on another linked store, switch store with the store button at the top of the page.
In the Dashboard
- In the sidebar, open Dashboard → Reports.
- Pick the shop in the header. Reports work on one shop at a time; with All shops they open on your first connected shop.
Run a report
- Find the report in the list, or type in Search reports. Each report shows its Category: Sales or Acquisition.
- Click the report.
- Open Date range and pick a preset, from Today to Last 365 days, Month to date, Year to date or Custom. A report opens on Last 30 days.
- Optionally choose Compare to: Previous period or Previous year. The chart then shows the Selected period next to the Comparison period. No comparison turns it off.
Below the chart, the Data table lists each row and a Total.
What each report shows
| Report | Columns |
|---|---|
| Sales over time | Day, Orders, Total sales |
| Sales by product | Product, Net sales |
| Sessions over time | Day, Sessions, visitors, Conversion rate |
If a range has no data, you see No data for this date range. Try a longer range.
When reports are not available
Shopify only lets an app run these reports once it is approved for protected customer data (level 2). Until then the page says so: Reports aren’t available for this store yet in Multi-Store Sync, Reports need access to protected customer data in the Dashboard. Use Analytics in your Shopify admin in the meantime.
What you cannot do here
- Reports cover one shop at a time. For figures across every shop, use Analytics: revenue, costs and profit.
- You cannot build your own reports; only these three are offered.
