The buyer tracking page: links and branding

Create a tracking link a buyer opens without signing in, revoke links, and set the name, logo, colour and support details of the page in the Dashboard.

  3. See and revoke live links

  5. What you cannot do here

StoreFleet can give a buyer one link to follow their own order. They open it without signing in, and it shows only that order. You create the links and set the look of the page in the Dashboard.

What the buyer sees

The page is titled Where your order is and says it updates itself, so the buyer can keep the link and open it again. It shows the order number, each package with its status and the carrier’s scans, the last update time, and what is in the order.

  • Before the order ships, it says This order has not shipped yet.
  • Before the carrier scans a package, it says the carrier has not scanned it yet.

The top and bottom of the page carry your branding (see below).

  1. Open Orders & Fulfillment → Orders and click the order.
  2. On the Link for the buyer card, click Create the link.
  3. Click Copy and paste the link into your reply to the buyer.

Creating the link again on the same order gives back the same link, so a second click does no harm.

  1. Open Orders & Fulfillment → Tracking Page. The Live links tab lists every buyer link that works right now, with Order, Shop and Created.
  2. Click Revoke on a link to turn it off. Whoever holds it then sees that it no longer works.

You can also revoke a link from the order’s Link for the buyer card.

Set the look of the page

  1. Open Orders & Fulfillment → Tracking Page and go to the Look and feel tab.
  2. Under You are editing, choose The default everyone starts from, or one shop.
  3. Fill in the fields you need:
    • Name buyers see and Logo address (must start with https://).
    • Accent colour, as six hex digits after a hash, for example #1A73E8.
    • Page heading and Footer line.
    • Support email and Line beside the support email. With no support email, the buyer sees no way to reach you.
    • Language of the page, for example en or en-US.
    • Hide the StoreFleet credit in the footer, off by default.
  4. Check What the buyer sees: the preview follows every keystroke.
  5. Click Save. Buyers see the change the next time the page loads.

A shop that has never been given its own look follows the default. Once you save a shop’s own look, later changes to the default no longer reach it; click Back to the default to make it follow again.

To give many shops the same look, click Apply to many shops, tick the shops or groups, tick each field to write over, and confirm. Fields you leave unticked are not touched.

What you cannot do here

  • Multi-Store Sync, the app inside Shopify admin, has no tracking page settings at the moment, and the order lookup page in the shop’s storefront is not available.
