A URL redirect sends anyone who opens an old address, such as /old-page, to a page that still exists. The list shows each redirect’s Redirect from and Redirect to.

URL redirects are managed in Multi-Store Sync inside Shopify admin. The Dashboard sidebar has no URL redirects screen.

Open URL redirects

  1. Open StoreFleet: Inventory Sync from Apps in your Shopify admin.
  2. Click Content, then the Menus tab.
  3. Click View URL redirects.

If you have linked more than one shop, pick the shop with the store switcher at the top.

Create a redirect

  1. Click Create URL redirect.
  2. In Redirect from, enter the old path on your store, for example /old-page.
  3. In Redirect to, enter where visitors should go instead: a path on your store, such as /new-page, or a full URL.
  4. Click Save.

Edit or delete one redirect

  1. Click the redirect in the list.
  2. Change the paths and click Save, or click Delete redirect.

Delete several redirects

  1. Tick the redirects and click Delete redirects.
  2. Confirm. This can’t be undone. For a large selection Shopify deletes them in the background, which can take a few minutes.

Import redirects from a CSV file

  1. Click Import.
  2. Add a CSV file with two columns: Redirect from and Redirect to.
  3. Check the preview. Rows with an empty column are skipped and listed by line number.
  4. Click the import button, for example Import 12 redirects.

Shopify imports the file in the background; this can take a few minutes. If your browser cannot upload the file to Shopify, StoreFleet creates each redirect one by one instead and tells you so. If some rows fail, a banner lists their CSV line numbers; the other rows are still imported.
