Discount requirements, eligibility and combinations
Set a discount's minimum purchase, who can use it, usage limits, which other discounts it combines with, and its start and end dates.
These cards are in the discount editor in both Multi-Store Sync and the Dashboard, under the value or type settings. See Create a discount for the first steps.
Minimum requirements
Shown for every type except Buy X get Y. The card is called Minimum requirements in Multi-Store Sync and Minimum purchase requirements in the Dashboard.
- Choose No minimum requirements, Minimum purchase amount or Minimum quantity of items.
- Enter the amount or the quantity.
Customer eligibility
- In Customer eligibility, choose All customers, Specific customer segments, Specific customers or Specific markets.
- If you chose a specific group, search and add the segments, customers or markets. Remove one with its remove button.
Segments come from the shop’s saved segments. See Customer segments.
Maximum discount uses
Shown for discount codes only.
- Enter a number in Limit number of times this discount can be used in total, or leave it empty for no limit.
- Tick Limit to one use per customer if each customer may use it once.
Combinations
In Combinations, tick the kinds of discount this one may be used together with: Product discounts, Order discounts and Shipping discounts. With none ticked, the summary says it can’t combine with other discounts.
Active dates
- In Active dates, set the Start date and Start time.
- To end the discount on a set day, tick Set end date and fill in End date and End time.
Times use 24-hour HH:MM, for example 09:30, in the shop’s time zone. A discount with a future start date is listed as Scheduled.
