You can change stock in Multi-Store Sync inside Shopify admin or in the StoreFleet Dashboard. Both show the same columns: Product, SKU, Location, Available, On hand, Committed and Incoming. Both work on one shop at a time. Use Location (All locations by default) to look at one location.

In Multi-Store Sync (Shopify admin)

Open Products in the app’s menu, then the Inventory tab.

Set a new quantity

  1. Find the item and change the number in Available.
  2. Click Save.

Adjust by an amount

  1. Click Adjust on the item.
  2. Enter the Amount to adjust by (for example -3 or 10). The dialog shows the New available total.
  3. Choose a Reason. You can add a Reference (optional), which Shopify shows in its inventory history.
  4. Click Adjust.

Multi-Store Sync makes the change on the shop at once and shows Inventory updated.

In the Dashboard

Open Inventory & Products → Inventory and pick the shop in the header.

Set a new quantity

  1. Find the item and change the number in Available.
  2. Click Save changes.

Adjust by an amount

  1. Click Adjust on the item.
  2. Enter the Amount to adjust by and choose a Reason. You can add a Reference.
  3. Click Adjust.

When the stock changes

By default a stock change made in the Dashboard is sent for approval. You see Sent for approval. Stock hasn’t changed yet. The shop’s stock changes when an admin or manager approves it. See Approve or reject a change.

If the shop’s Approval Settings set stock changes to Auto, you see Saved to the shop. and the change is made at once. See Approval Settings.
