Order notes, tags, contact details and shipping address

Add notes and tags to a Shopify order, change the customer's email or phone, and fix the shipping address from Multi-Store Sync or the Dashboard.

Updated

  1. Notes
  2. Tags
  3. Contact information
  4. Shipping address
  5. Related

These small edits are made from the side column of the order page. They are written to Shopify when you save; none of them waits for approval. In the Dashboard they need the Admin or Manager role.

Notes

Notes work differently on the two sides.

In Multi-Store Sync (Shopify admin) you edit the order’s own note in Shopify:

  1. On the Notes card, click Edit note.
  2. Change the Note and click Save. You see Note saved.

In the Dashboard you keep a running log of internal notes, most recent first. A new note never overwrites an older one.

  1. On the Notes card, click Edit notes.
  2. Type in New note.
  3. Tick Also save on the Shopify order if the shop’s other staff and apps should see it in Shopify too. It is off by default.
  4. Click Save note. Notes saved to Shopify show Synced to Shopify.

Tags

In Multi-Store Sync: on the Tags card, type a tag and press Enter. To remove one, click its remove button on the tag. To tag many orders at once, tick them on the Orders list and use More actions → Add tags or Remove tags.

In the Dashboard:

  1. On the Tags card, click Edit.
  2. Add or remove tags in Edit tags. Tags are visible to staff, not to the customer.
  3. Click Save. You see Tags updated.

Contact information

  1. Click More actions → Edit contact information.
  2. Change the Email or Phone number.
  3. Click Save. You see Contact information updated.

Shipping address

  1. On the Shipping address card, click the edit button.
  2. Change the address. Saving replaces the whole address on Shopify: a field you leave blank is cleared there too.
  3. Click Save address.

The country code is two letters, for example US or VN.

In the Dashboard, if StoreFleet cannot read the order’s current address, editing is locked so a typed address cannot overwrite the real one.
